The next IAUP Semi Annual meeting will be held in Bogota, Colombia from Friday, March 23, 2012 (beginning with an evening opening reception) to Sunday, March 25th, 2012 (concluding with an evening Gala Dinner). Our host for this meeting is Dr. Carlos Felipe Escobar Roa, Rector, Universidad El Bosque.

Following the 2011 Triennial, IAUP President Michael Adams announced that during his presidency what were previously the semi-annual meetings of the IAUP Executive Committee would become instead the semi-annual meetings of the organization as a whole - open to all members.

Each meeting will include sessions of general interest to all members, opportunities for networking among university leaders, and meetings of all IAUP taskforces and commissions, including groups focusing on peace education and conflict resolution, prior learning, college completion, and women’s leadership issues. The IAUP Executive Committee, Council of Senior Advisors, and Board of Directors also will meet.

Members will pay for their transportation and lodging, the host university for meetings, airport transportation, meeting support, some meals and logistics for touring the city. Registration and other meeting details will be sent to all members in mid January, 2012. For now - please mark the date and plan to attend if you can
