Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Tops Times Higher Education Rankings for Latin America
Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUCC), led by IAUP Vice President for South America, Dr. Ignacio Sánchez, has secured the top position in the latest Times Higher Education Rankings for Latin America, leading the ranking for five consecutive years.
Universities in the Latin America and Caribbean region are assessed based on rigorous performance indicators, including teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. The 2023 ranking included 197 institutions from 15 countries, indicating the increasing competitiveness and excellence within the region’s higher education landscape.
