IAUP 2017 Triennial Conference Update

New dual-conference concept

In addition to a high quality academic programme, participants at the triennial conference gain from most outstanding opportunities of networking beneficial to their institutions/organisations, as well as unparalleled cultural experiences. In 2017 we will be introducing a new dual-conference concept: On the one hand we will be hosting the IAUP Triennial Conference with the main theme Innovation in Education. And on the other hand we will be offering “Young Scientists” the opportunity to hold their own conference at the same time, in the same town, albeit in a different venue with the main theme of Sustainability. The IAUP celebrates its general assembly every three years in a different part of the world. This year we invite you to join the 18th IAUP Triennial Conference in Vienna on July 5th – 8th, 2017.

The IAUP celebrates its general assembly every three years in a different part of the world. Each triennial focuses on a specific theme and provides its membership with an opportunity to discuss challenges and changes that face higher education worldwide.

Participants of the triennial conferences include the CEO’s of universities worldwide: Presidents, Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, Rectors, as well as worldwide leaders of governments, leaders of international and national associations and organisations, such as the United Nations, UNESCO, the World Bank and leaders of the corporate sector. For the Young Scientists Conference: We kindly ask you to encourage early career scientists from your institution to attend this parallel scientific conference.

Besides profiting from an outstanding programme, use the unique opportunity to network with this multicultural leading audience in outstanding settings at the opening in the impressive city hall, the gala dinner in the Vienna Hofburg and enjoy a concert of the famous Bruckner Orchestra in the St. Stephens Cathedral. We look forward to seeing you in Vienna.
