IAUP Welcomes Universidad de Valencia and Its President, Dr. María V. Mestre

The IAUP continues to grow and welcome new members to its global community of higher education leaders. Dr. María V. Mestre, President of the Universidad de Valencia, Dr. Fernando Galván, IAUP Secretary General, and Dr. Fernando León-García, IAUP President, recently met in Madrid in a gathering that provided an opportunity to officially welcome Dr. Mestre and the Universidad de Valencia as new IAUP members.

University presidents and other higher education officials from around the world are gathered by the IAUP to foster cooperation, the sharing of best practices, and advocacy for higher education. The inclusion of the Universidad de Valencia and Dr. Mestre, the university’s president, further strengthens the organization’s global network and its commitment to advancing higher education globally.
