UJ Presents Global Excellence and Stature Award to IAUP Chairman
Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University and Chairman of the IAUP Board, received the 2023 Global Excellence and Stature (GES) Award from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) at a ceremony in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Presented by Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Johannesburg (UJ), Professor Letlhokwa Mpedi, the award recognizes exceptional contributions to global higher education and exemplary leadership promoting peace and international understanding through education.
UJ stated that Dr. Shengelia has championed intercultural, scientific, and intellectual exchanges aligned to its own focus on internationalization and partnerships, highlighting the importance of international collaboration in higher education.
