IAUP Shares Insights at the XX FECIES Forum
The IAUP participated in the International Forum on the Evaluation of Research Quality and Higher Education (XX FECIES Forum) held virtually from May 24-26, 2023. Dr. Fernando Galván, IAUP Secretary-General, and Dr. Fernando León García, IAUP President, delivered presentations during the event, offering their insights on university quality and accreditation processes of North American agencies, respectively.
On May 24th, Dr. Galván presented “The Challenges of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and University Quality”, touching on the role universities play in achieving sustainable development objectives, and the need for them to align their goals and actions with SDGs.
On May 25th, Dr. León García took the virtual stage to deliver “The Accreditation Process of North American Quality Agencies”, which provided valuable insights into the mechanisms that govern quality assurance at higher education institutions in the region.
