Efforts to Strengthen Global Partnerships: IAUP’s Commitment to Transforming Higher Education
Efforts by the IAUP to address the rapid transformation of higher education globally during the 2021-2024 Triennium were highlighted in the October 2024 issue of the Mexican publication Panorama Universitario (Issue 320, pages 10–11). Under the leadership of Dr. Fernando León García, President of IAUP and CETYS University, the organization has fostered international collaboration among academic leaders to exchange best practices in areas such as innovation, inclusion, and sustainability. The article discusses recent events in Chile and Mexico, among others, where leaders explored the implications of technological advancements, artificial intelligence, and shifting educational priorities in a post-pandemic world, emphasizing the role of transformative leadership in shaping responsive and impactful universities.
